This is Conchita Wurst and yes, the beard is real. Isn't she gorgeous? :)
Conchita is an Austrian drag queen and this year she won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Rise like a Phoenix" for Austria. There was quite the controversy when the ORF (Austrian national TV station) nominated her to represent us at the ESC. Not everyone was happy about it, not here and not in other countries, but in the end she managed to win over a whole lot of people and she did rise like a phoenix. :)
