I never actually really watched all that much of the show - except for like a couple clips here and there - but boy, do I like the fic. And them. (HI ASKARS! <3)

Rec: Half Past The Point of Oblivion by KahtyaSofia (Generation Kill; Brad/Nate) - Nothing says Christmas spirit like a Hooker AU, amirite?! Especially when one of the characters is actually Jewish! :D:
Oh well, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one around here who enjoys the occasional hooker fic (or pretty much all of them, really :D) and it's not like this Advent calendar is actually in any way religious so... :D
This is super long and I like her characterizations and the overall plot and yes, very enjoyable read! :D (mind the tags, though! story also has an unwarned for minor character death and some violence)
Wow, could this rec have any more :D faces?! :D

Songs: I started liking Clueso a couple years back but only this year did I managed to see him in concert, twice even, and I enjoyed both times SO MUCH! :D Then, the day before yesterday there was actually a live stream of one of his shows, so that inspired me to share some of his fabulous music:

Generation Kiiiiill! 'Tis totally the season for hooker AU! :D I'm the opposite in that I watched and really liked Generation Kill, but never got into the fic. I don't know. It's probably a good thing, because I have enough fandoms as is. ;)

And "Chicago" will forever be awesome. \o/
