I think one of the reasons why I liked the 6th HP movie so much was Tom Felton's delicious Draco. OM NOM NOM! :D

Rec: Theft of Assets, Destruction of Property by [livejournal.com profile] helenish (HP; Draco/Neville) - this is pretty AU as the story was started in 2004(ish) but OMG SO AWESOME!
Draco and Neville messed around during school but Lucius didn't let Draco go back the last school year and they lose contact. When Lucius wants to marry off Draco to some old rich guy Lucius finds out that Draco lost his virginity to Neville so he sues Neville for damage of his property or whatever (ugh, Lucius obviously needs to DIAF!) and so Neville either has to marry Draco or pay a lot of money so they of course end up forced!married which is only my most favorite story trope ever! :D
And this is just amazing, seriously! It has all the pining and misunderstandings and very hot sex you would want from a story like this. <3

Songs: Have some Jay Brannan! He was recommended to me by a friend (♥) and then I saw him in concert last August and he was just the sweetest and most charming guy ever! Also, his music is just lovely!

Beautifully // Blowin' In The Wind // Can't Have It All // Good Mother // Half-Boyfriend // Housewife // The Freshmen // Zombie

Enjoy! :-)

HP! The fandom that sterted it all (for me, at least)! I could never read Draco with anyone-not-Harry, but I toroughy enjoyed the fact that the shipping possibilities in that fandom were so many and still "believable".
Also, I totally dl-ed all of Jay's songs yesterday! I loooooove him and his muuuuuuuusiiiiiiiiiiiiiic ♥

Hee, HP was the starting place for quite a lot of people :) . And I understand being really OTP about something, I have a few fandoms like that myself but HP totally doesn't fall in that category. *is mostly totally pairing-slutty*

And yay for the Jay love! :D

Excellent door today! I love Tom Felton's Draco. He was fantastic- gloomy and looming all over Hogwarts in half-Blood Prince.

And that story is love! I love the forced-marriage trope too.

Hee, thank you so much, K! <3 And yes, his Draco worked really well for me, too.

It's such an amazing trope! There should be at least a million more stories! *g*

Isn't he yummy? <3

Awww, you should totes give it a try! Really! But yeah, no, I understand being too OTP to read other pairings :) .

Tom Felton was totally awesome in that movie. I wish JKR had done more with Draco at the end of the series but he really worked what there was to work with. And Helen's story is totally adorable!

I know, right? I really enjoyed him. And I'm glad the fans did way more with Draco than JKR herself ;) . Also yes, I really liked that story a lot!

I tried to read that story since that's my favourite HP pairing but sadly I didn't like it at all. There's something about [livejournal.com profile] helenish stories that just seem to rub me the wrong way unfortunately.

Awww, that's too bad! I saw you reccing a Draco/Neville story a while back (and I really enjoyed it btw!) and so I thought this would maybe be something for you if you hadn't read it yet. Oh well!

I actually got TWO recs for this story when I recced that Draco/Neville story so you're not alone in really liking it. It's such a rare pairing and I was a bit disappointed that it didn't work for me.

Yeah, it sucks if there is a new, long story with a beloved rare pairing and then it just doesn't work for you :/ .
