This summer I was kind off drawn in by all the American Idol hype and after checking out some picspams I went and searched for Idol RPS on del.icio.us and inbetween all the Cookleta and Kradam there were a few Ryan/Simon stories. My reaction was pretty much 'Ew, NO!' but that only lasted until I actually got to see episodes of AI and their interaction. *g*
They totes look like they are out on a date here, don't they? <3

Rec: Just like the Kelly Clarkson song (my life would suck without you) by black_eyedgirl (Idol RPS; Ryan/Simon) - And after I had seen the episodes I of course went and actually read those stories and I really, really liked this one.
Some crazy fan storms the stage with a gun during rehearsals and pretty much threatens to kill people if he doesn't get to sing. They get the situation under control pretty quickly but it does make people think about some things more closely.

I always think of Ryan Seacrest in a slightly dysfunctional relationship when I hear that song, just because he was so weirdly excited over how awesome it was when Kelly did it live on AI.

And, because it's Ryan, of course this relationship is with Simon.
