mfacWelcome, welcome! Another year is coming to an end, we are only 24 days away from Christmas and therefore it's time for my annual multi-fandom Advent calendar. Whee!
I am obviously very very excited and I just hope I can brighten up your days until Christmas Eve with this little countdown and its pictures and recs and music and and and...

This is a picture I took at the Christmas market in Bamberg this past weekend and I thought it would be a nice picture to start off this year's calendar.
For me, Christmas markets are an important part of this season and I just love to walk through them and look at all the stuff being offered and then I always want to eat pretty much all the food on offer (so many delicious smells OM NOM NOM!) and of course you can't leave without having a Glühwein. Or three. *g*
So yes, Christmas markets = awesome!

hackthis (Generation Kill; Brad/Nate) - Although I only watched one episode of Generation Kill and just got all my knowledge from a friend telling me all about it (♥) I still went and read quite a few stories. This one has to be my favorite. HS AU! :D
Brad and Nate have been BFFs ever since Nate, age 10, moved to Bravo Terrace where he met Brad on the first day. They are in high school now (obviously ;), on the football team (along with various other GK characters) and one evening Brad climbs into Nate's room through the window and takes their relationship one step further. There's very hot making out. And then there is the freaking out afterwards. Nate really doesn't deal well with the whole making out thing. And Brad doesn't deal well with Nate not dealing well. Heh.
There's angst and not talking to each other and jealousy and yes, it's all pretty awesome :D .
Also, bonus points for Nate's very cool ex-girlfriend. And the beautiful art bytrolleys.
Songs: When I thought about what music to use for this entry it suddenly came to me: JLo! Generation Kill fans will know why. *g*
