irisgirl12000 (Bandslash, PatD; girl!Brendon/Jon, implied GSF) - Pretty much Panic's story from their first tour on with the slight difference that Brendon actually is (and always has been) a girl.
I really really liked this. Bren is awesome and I love how she falls in love with Jon and how she has pretty much always been in love with Ryan and Spencer and how it all comes together :) .
Songs: I think I'm one of the few people who actually like AFYCSO more than P. O. But that doesn't mean that I don't love it, too. I just like the first album MORE. Anyway, have my favorites from P. O.
Northern Downpour (so pretty!) // When The Day Met The Night (I still love the live acoustic version from the HCT announcement more but this is also pretty awesome) // Pas De Cheval (I love the galloping rhythm that gave the song it's name) // Behind The Sea (whee, Ryan Ross singing!) // Folkin' Around (I thought 'WTFCOUNTRY?!' when I first heard this but then I watched the Making of Pretty. Odd. DVD and completely fell in love with Brendon just sitting down and playing this song by himself all competent and full of awesome) // Mad As Rabbits (this song just rocks!)

I know what you mean. I fell in love with the stripped, acoustic versions of When the Day Met the Night and Behind the Sea when I first heard them. To this day, the album versions sound odd to me.
